Many of us seem to think that we are not qualified to minister, that we have not been to Bible school to get a degree, or that we are simply not good enough. WRONG! God does not always choose the qualified, He qualifies the called. All you need is FAITH and the Holy Spirit to lead you. God did not choose us because we are good, qualified or financially well off. He chose us because of whom we are and that enables us to work with the broken.
A woman knows compassion and love like no other, and we were chosen to make a difference in the lives of the broken and shattered because LOVE makes a difference. God wants us to treat every the same - from the wealthy to the beggar on the side walk. There is no difference - God loves us all and He doesn't discriminate so why should we?
Secondly, never be afraid to think big or do big for God. God NEVER gives us half measures, so why should we hold back? We expect 100% from God and so does He expect the same from us. Never be afraid to pray for others no matter what the circumstance - whether for comfort or healing, do it with FAITH and TRUST God to step in and take over.
Think big, act big, talk big, pray big - for we serve a BIG God!! God will never ever let you down or embarrass you! Remember that God can meet our every need and more, but we need to be humble enough to allow Him to do what needs to be done. I have absolute confidence that my Heavenly Father is big enough to handle every situation. I belong to Him, I trust Him to do what's best for me - as difficult as it may seem at times.
As you learn of my story and my miracle daughter's story you will understand that last statement more. As time goes by I will share these things with you. For now I will leave you a short story of faith about my eight year old daughter: Tiana is on permanent life support but has the most amazing walk and relationship with God. Tiana believes in miracles, the power of prayer and has no fear.
She has taught me so much in her eight years.
Tiana has even told pastors that when they pray for her they should use Jesus oil. My house has plenty and you will be anointed if you have any ailment! Tiana has had so many Jesus encounters and one that remains in my mind clearly is the night she was under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. She lay there for a good 20 minutes and on the way home she told me that Jesus was sitting with her and spoke to her.
In closing all I want to say is - be fearless, be big and have the faith of a child and allow God to use you for His purpose. God chose you , you can do it. Have faith and trust HIM. A perfect example is an 8 year old Tiana who I believe God has called and His raising her up and instructing her on how to do His work.
