Skill to do comes of doing; knowledge comes by eyes always open and working hands; and there is no knowledge that is not power. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson Though the phrase “knowledge is power” differs from author to author, it generally means that with knowledge or experience ones wisdom, potential and power in life will increase. The first reference to this phrase however, was not by Ralph Emerson but by Solomon in Proverbs 24:5 “A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power.”(Amplified)

I am utterly fatigued, dehydrated and my body aches ALL over. But if this is what it means to put your body on the line for Jesus Christ... I will do it in a heartbeat! In 2013 a beautiful dream was placed in the heart of a visionary which birthed the first #imagine gathering in 2014. One in Gauteng, the other in the Western Cape. The aim? Bringing together young adults all over our nation with one purpose: starting a movement to empower a generation for God. And what a gathering it was! At the break of a rather chilly, Friday morning, Gauteng, Western Cape and Jefferey's Bay waited in anticipation for the generation of 2015 #imagine campers.
Have you ever heard the saying “What you focus on will expand”? In Biblical terms it will relate to the principle of multiplication (sow & reap). And in layman’s terms it will be described as whatever you decide to focus most of your energy on, will grow bigger and bigger in your life (either in a good or a bad way – but it will multiply!).
If a man truly loves his wife, she becomes his greatest weakness. And if a woman truly loves her husband, he becomes her greatest strength. ~Unknown
Whenever we do something really fun, or if my daughter really enjoys something, she would make the exclamation ‘best day ever’! And although it is hard to believe that Jesus’s crucifixion was the best day ever for any of His family or friends, it was indeed the best day ever for each and every one serving Him. “The Sovereign Lord will destroy death forever! He will wipe away the tears from everyone’s eyes and take away the disgrace His people have suffered throughout the world. The Lord Himself has spoken!” ~Isaiah 25:8
Entering the celebration of Easter is always a time of reminisce on what Jesus has done to save our souls. An amazing act of selfish love the moment He spread his arms willingly on the cross. Resurrected from death, breaking the gates of hell, and laying down the stepping stones to eternal life while wearing the Victors Crown. When we look at our Savior, our Redeemer, we cannot ignore the physical brutality around the events of His crucifixion. The prophesied Word of God manifesting on earth just like in the scrolled amphitheater of ancient scripture. Though there are many significant symbolism and topics about the crucifixion, I would like to draw your attention to the Crown of Thorns placed on the head of our King. Matthew 27:29 “When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying: “Hail, King of the Jews!”
