Do you ever think of reasons to love? And do you ever go out of your way to find reasons to live, laugh and appreciate everything you have? And do you see and feel God, and do you live your faith with passion? “Glory ye in His holy Name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.” – 1 Chronicles 16:10

Snakes & Ladders
For some weird reason we don’t have a copy of the popular board game snakes and ladders. So when my daughter asked to play the game, I had to make a plan. And what nicer plan than to sit with your child and design your own board, colour the blocks and draw snakes and ladders! I draw pictures for a living. Yes, I know it sounds a lot more fun when stated that way. But being a Graphic Artist also has it positive and negative career trademarks. These past few weeks where mayhem as deadline after deadline landed on my desk. But I love what I do and living out my talents.
“The fear of rejection is one of our deepest human fears. Biologically wired with a longing to belong, we fear being seen in a critical way. We’re anxious about the prospect of being cut off, demeaned, or isolated. A big part of our fear of rejection may be our fear of experiencing hurt and pain. Our dislike to unpleasant experiences prompts behaviors that don’t serve us. We withdraw from people rather than risk reaching out. We hold back from expressing our authentic feelings. We abandon others before they have a chance to reject us!” - www.psychologytoday.com
