Mark Twain said that Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. I think this is very true! Except I think that us, the seeing and hearing are the most hard hearing and blindest when it comes to kindness. Isn't kindness what we expect from other people? See, the overall problem with kindness is that we believe that we, because we are children of God, automatically qualify in having a heart of kindness. So we sit arms crossed waiting for our fellow brothers and sisters to show kindness to the world. After all, we are expecting it as part of their fruit bouquet right?
I love to do my Bible study directly in my Bible. I color and draw little pictures or write what God has revealed to me. At times I add sticky notes with more thoughts and ideas and things I feel I have to pray deeper into. I love the feel of the thin pages under my fingers and the way my eyes glide over the words. Like God is writing especially to me... However there are times when I use the Bible app on my phone and highlight the verses important to me. I will then take one night and sit with God and mark them in my Bible while busy with Bible study. Last night was one of those nights. Pencils on the side, I started marking and scribbling the highlighted verses when I came across one verse...
