Not sure where I am going with this? Well, let me use the example of the rich young man (I’m borrowing this awesome revelation from a friend!).
We all crave to receive revelation. Sometimes we even desire something more dramatic and more complicated than what has been shared before. We pray to God to reveal Himself. We pray for dialogue between ourselves and God. Every so often we engage in complicated conversations. We read our Bibles hoping that we will make a miraculous discovery of something never seen or read before. While all along the answer often lies in the simple things! “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” – 1 Corinthians 14:33 (a)

One of my most favorite verses and one I belief has shown its work in my life continuously is the notorious Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." But some days, just some days I just wish I was brave. Like, REALLY BRAVE! I'm just a normal woman (yet some would lift an eyebrow at the normal part...) A Mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I stand up for what I believe in and try to live my life according to the Word of God (even though I fail miserably at times).
“But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden from the human understanding, and now revealed to us by God—that wisdom which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].” – 1 Corinthians 2:7
Over the years I have read a lot of predestination theories. And I’ve followed a number of debates about how some believe in predestination, and how others totally disagree. I personally, are on the side of the ones not supporting predestination, for the pure fact that I can’t believe that a loving Father will predestine some of His children to be saved, and others to be abandoned and to live a life of purposeless existence. I honestly cant’ imagine that we are all puppets part of a pre-planned act, with God being the puppet master. “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and so he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].” – 1 John 4:18 Tonight I had an encounter with a frog. I don't mind spiders, snakes nor any other creepy creature for that matter (I have a pet spider - Sue), but hopping, little slimy frogs... I have a hard time implementing Genesis 1:28 here. I even chased a little field mouse in my grandmothers house to rescue it from being swatted by my brothers wild broom swings while my mother stood hysterical on the couch pointing the direction the mouse scurried in. It was a race between mouse survival or annihilation that day, and am happy to say the mouse was released back into the field. Much to the dismay of my grandmother (who didn't sleep for two nights). And while looking the frog in the eyes tonight (unafraid), it reminded me of only a few weeks ago when I finally conquered my fear of the amphibious.
