By looking at the world through the eyes of Jesus, we will be able to only see the good in people, and not the multitude of flaws and limitations. But the moment we look at people through the eyes of the world, we see faults and weaknesses, and we start to judge one another. But if I can remind myself daily that it is not about me, I will be able to seek the good in the people around me, and I will be able to pardon the wrong doings of others. And instead of judging I will be able to interact with love and care, and give hope to a hopeless world.
Prayer: Lord, help me today to only use words of kindness, and to show acts that will build the people around me and not acts that will destroy. I don’t want to be the one who makes another stumble or fall into sin, but rather be the one who help a sister or brother who is seeking You. And if my thoughts drift away and I want to judge, help me to rather keep quiet and focus my attention back on You. Amen
