Job 35:12 "There they cry out, but He does not answer, Because of the pride of evil men."
You are a priveladged, chosen queen and ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven. Your deeds and actions are watched by non-believers, for to them you are the Truth of Gods Word in action. Automatically we have a responsibility to carry Christ-like qualities. Unfortuanatly pride can step in the way and we blindly follow it to the "it's about me" mindset. Refrain from being pridefull, God does not respond to it. Prayer: My King, please make known to me any pride I might have. I don't want anything standing in the way of our relationship. Amen Spiritual Growth: How many times do you use the words "I" or "me" in a normal conversation? How many times do you mention God? Esther 14:4 "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Sometimes you find yourself in a certain place and wonder: "What am I really doing here?" Be it in a strangers house or in your own comfort zone, does it really matter. It does. God gives us opportunities to help others and to Glorify Him. He gives us those divine meetings to not only help others but to strengthen our faith in Him. Everywhere you go, you are meant to be there for such a time as this, no matter the place or situation. God chose to use you! Prayer: Father, please show me how to make You great in the places you put me. Grant me the wisdom to do what You have chosen me for. Amen. Spiritual Growth: It's to easy to just say "I don't know what I'm doing here" or "What does it matter?" Instead of falling on that heap of hopelessness, trust that you are where you belong and that God placed you there. If not, align with Gods will and ask that He places you where you need to be. Esther 4:4 "So Esther’s maids and eunuchs came and told her, and the queen was deeply distressed. Then she sent garments to clothe Mordecai and take his sackcloth away from him, but he would not accept them."
It's build into our womanly nature to be a nurturer. The moment Esther heard the news she was distressed and wanted to make Mordicai feel better. Though he rejected her gift, we still see the queens nurturing character. We don't need to give gifts to nurture. It flows from a caring, righteous heart. With just a few comforting words, you can nurture someones broken heart. Prayer: Father, please show me ways to nurture the hearts You choose. Thank You for giving me the ability to do this in Your Mighty Name. Amen. Spiritual Growth: We live in a world consumed with pain in all its different ugly forms. Each person has a story. Instead of voicing an opinion, nurture their hearts with hugs filled with Gods Love. Esther 1:12 "But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s command brought by his eunuchs; therefore the king was furious, and his anger burned within him."
It seems that queen Vashti was disobedient towards the command of the king, understandably so. Rather, lets look at it from her perspective. It was days into the feast and by the time the command (not request) was brought to her, she knew the men would be merry and that she is only summoned so her beauty can be showed off. She takes a brave step: she refuses. She is a woman and queen in her true right and not a possession to be showed off. Know today that you are uniquely a woman and queen in your true right in the eyes of God. You are free through the blood of Jesus Christ and a possession of no one. Prayer: Father, please help me to discover the braveness in my soul to stand up and refuse anything that wants to capture me. Thank you for my freedom bought through the blood of Jesus. Amen Spiritual Growth: You are a brave, free woman of God. Walk today with your head up, a beautiful smile and Gods love. Esther 1:11 "to bring Queen Vashti before the king, wearing her royal crown, in order to show her beauty to the people and the officials, for she was beautiful to behold."
What is beauty to you? Does it it find its origin in the glittery powder of your eyeshadow or in the twisted thongs of a curling iron? It's well said beauty lies within, but my question is: do you believe your God created beauty lies within you? It doesn't matter what the world deem beautiful, what REALY matters is that God sees your beauty. He crowned you with all the qualities of His beauty and He wants to show it to the world through you, for YOU are beautiful to behold. Prayer: Father, my beautiful Creator. Thank You for creating me in Your image. Help me to reflect Your beauty in my live so You can show my inner beauty to the world. Amen. Spiritual Growth: For just one day, put the cosmetics away and just be truly you. Let Gods beauty shine through you. You are beautiful. Esther 1: 9 "Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus."
From my personal point of view, there is a lot to be learned from queen Vasti. While her husband, King Ahasuerus, was showing off his kingdom and riches, she opened her house and heart to the royal women whom were in company of the guests. Most assuredly she had ladies in her house who were already jealous of her, who looked down on her and maybe gossiped behind her back. Yet, she still opened her house and gave them a feast. Prayer: Father, I pray today and ask that you will give me an open heart and an open house. That all who walk through my door will walk into your presence and sit at the feast You prepared. Spiritual growth: Not all the people in your life are likeminded in Christ. Yes there are some who are jealous, look down on you and gossip. But you dear woman do not need to concern yourself with that. Give it to God and open your heart and house to give a feast of Gods presence and His word. Psalm 45: 9-11"Kings' daughters were among thy honorable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him."
We are handpicked and chosen by the Lord Himself. To Him you are most beautiful, just the way He created you, and He desires you. I cannot emphasize the importance of putting God FIRST in your life enough. Listen and obey the Word of God and forget all the other worldly things. We are the honorable women of God, and He desires our beauty. Prayer: Father, today I thank You for desiring me. Thank You for calling me amongst the honorable women. Guide me to forget this world and concentrate solely on You. Amen Remember today that you are an honorable women of God. That He desires you. Give Him the praise and worship which is rightfully His only. 2 Chronicles:7-8 “Happy are your men and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom! Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on His throne to be king for the LORD your God! Because your God has loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.”
This blessing was spoken over King Solomon by the Queen of Sheba before she departed for her own country. She recognized where God has touched Solomon’s’ life and where He blessed him with abundance. We are so busy with our own lives that we hardly stop and praise the work of God in others. The talents and gifts he bestowed on that person are worthy to bless. Why? Because he gave you talents and gifts too! Not one talent nor one gift is the same, but yet we need to bring it together with our brethren to make the Body of Christ work. Prayer: Father God, thank you for blessing my friends so richly in their lives. Help me to see the talents and gifts You placed in their hearts and give me the ability to highlight and bless it in their lives. Spiritual Growth: Do you look only at the talents and gifts God gave you or do you see the beauty of Gods gifts in others? Start blessing others to lift them up, and God will return blessings in kind. |
