Esther 4:4 "So Esther’s maids and eunuchs came and told her, and the queen was deeply distressed. Then she sent garments to clothe Mordecai and take his sackcloth away from him, but he would not accept them."
It's build into our womanly nature to be a nurturer. The moment Esther heard the news she was distressed and wanted to make Mordicai feel better. Though he rejected her gift, we still see the queens nurturing character. We don't need to give gifts to nurture. It flows from a caring, righteous heart. With just a few comforting words, you can nurture someones broken heart.
Prayer: Father, please show me ways to nurture the hearts You choose. Thank You for giving me the ability to do this in Your Mighty Name. Amen.
Spiritual Growth: We live in a world consumed with pain in all its different ugly forms. Each person has a story. Instead of voicing an opinion, nurture their hearts with hugs filled with Gods Love.
