Psalm 56:8 "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my TEARS into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?"
I went on a women's camp the past weekend, and as human nature is, I had my own expectations of what God should do
and the message I wanted to receive. But who are we to advocate God what to do? He had something totally different in
mind for me. He wanted to unveil more of His love to me, He wanted me to recognize the emotion of sadness on a
different level, and He wanted me to understand that it is ok not to be ok!

How many times do we stand convincingly strong in front of the world, but we cry in secret? And how many times do we
hide our true emotions from the world? How many times does our courage fail us to share our emotions with people true
and trusted in our lives? If our husbands ask if we are ok, we say yes, while we know that we are actually not? And when
we go for coffee with our girlfriends we pretend ans smile, because we don't want to burden others with our problems?

On Saturday they took the women through a healing process at the camp. Part of the process was to do intercession for all who had and showed signs of depression, everyone who has attempted suicide somewhere in their lives, and anyone who currently had thoughts of suicide. What a shock it was to see how many women reacted to this call! And what a intense sadness on the inside. We live in a broken world, we live in times where people experience misery and disappointment so regular, that they accept it as a normal emotion. We live in a time where things happen so fast, that we don't have time to share our feelings with others. We live in a time where there are so many problems on a daily basis, that we don't have time to stop and listen to everyone's story! But I want to encourage every woman reading this today with the words: It is ok not to be ok! |
God knows every emotion of sadness, grief, pain and disappointment you have experienced in your life. And He catches
all your tears in a bottle. He counts them. He knows your heart, and He knows your heartache. But He wants you to
cast all your burdens upon Him, and He wants to give you Godly peace. A peace that no human being can give, a peace so
that you can experience His unconditional love for you. A love without condemnation, a love where your past does not
matter anymore, a love where you are saved and free!

Free to enjoy all the beauty of this life, and free to stand in front of God with awe, to praise His greatness. Surrender, and give all your problems to Abba Father in prayer. Talk to Him and tell Him of your sadness, grief, pain and disappointments. Tell Him about your greatest fears, your feelings of rejection, and ask Him to come and fill your life with His love and His peace. Allow Him to heal you, and allow Him to restore harmony in your life. Let us pray this together: "Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise." Jeremiah 17:14 |
And remember, it is ok not to be ok. Cast all thy burdens upon Him. May you experience the Fathers love today.
