Nehemiah 2:6 “Then the king said to me, the queen sitting beside him, "How long will your journey be, and when will you return?" So it pleased the king to send me, and I gave him a definite time.”
In the times of the Old Testament, women were not mentioned often, they were not seen as important to note. But Nehemiah specifically mentions the queen sitting beside her husband the King while handling the affairs of state. Her presence indicates her power of importance to the king, and to the kingdom. We also carry this importance because we will be seated with our Heavenly King one day. We have the power of importance with Him.
Prayer: My King, there are times in my life where I do not see the power of importance in my life. Times when I feel unworthy. I ask that You will divinely reveal the importance I carry for Your Kingdom. Amen
Spiritual Growth: Declare to the areas in your life where you feel unworthy and unimportant: I am the chosen Bride of Christ and I have the Power of Importance by His Holy Spirit.
