“And there is hope for your future, says the Lord; your children shall come back to their own country.” – Jeremiah 31:17
We live in uncertain times, where absolutely nothing is guaranteed. People immigrate to seek better opportunities for their families. The word ‘job security’ is almost nonexistent. And way too many marriages are falling apart. But God wants to give us the assurance today, that there is hope for our future. Hope for this generation, and hope for future generations to come! Keep your eyes focused on God, and allow Him to become your security. Do not fear the unknown, but trust the known God.
Prayer: Dear God, You know all about my fears. You know how terrified I feel when I hear about another attack on an innocent person, and how frightened I become when I read about all the violence and crime in the newspaper, and how crushed my spirit feels when I look at all the broken people in the world. I know I can’t fix any of these problems, but let me become a vessel of hope to those around me. Please remind me that it is not about me, but about Your supernatural works in bleak times. Amen
