Loneliness is a companion who finds you during some stage of your live. It gently takes your hand and guides you on a downward, spiralling path of a dark abbys lined with glittering gems of "I can do this on my own" and "I will be ok". We pack these gems in the chambers of our heart unknowingly blocking the entrance and taking away the welcome mat.
I'm not saying that every body and any body should come and wipe their feet, but God sends us people to help make what we're going through bare able. But we close the doors. Loneliness gives us the obstructions to baricade the chambers.
Are we designed to face this world alone?" And the Lord God said, “ It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
Genesis 2:18 It's not good for us to be alone. It wasn't Gods plan for us. He never intended for us to walk a lonely road.
But our hearts gets broken and trust in humanity shatter like a ceramic plate hitting a cold concrete floor. To protect ourselves we shut everyone out.
Is it lost? No. Is loneliness ever going to hit the road? Yes.
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever" John 14:16 Without realising it, we are the only created beings on earth whom have the privilege to have the Holy spirit as a constant companion.
Where humanity failed you, God never will. When you are ready to embrace a journey with loneliness rather choose the Holy Spirit as a travelling companion for a destination of eternity that can never be taken from you.
Travel wisely.
