Leviticus 19:15 “You shall do no injustice in judging a case; you shall not be partial to the poor or show a preference for the mighty, but in righteousness and according to the merits of the case judge your neighbor.“
Don’t we sometimes (maybe way too often) play a game of rugby with the people around us as well? We speak judgment without knowing the merit of the case. We interfere, and jump to conclusions without knowing the facts. We sit on the side-line and discuss and speculate about others’ lives.
Before you speak judgment again, take the time to evaluate facts instead of opinions. And willingly become an intercessor for a friend in need, instead of blowing the whistle from the side-line. Prayer have saved many lives, gossip unfortunately never. We can only win warriors for Christ, if we fight the battle with good moral values!
With the same measure that you judge others, God will one day judge you. So if you hope and wish for subtle judgment, don’t be too hard on your neighbor!
